New Meeting Place
The map/arrival information in your confirmation package has changed. All guests will now meet us in the lobby of the Prestige Lakeside Inn,
where we have a new Baldface office. The Prestige is on the lake at the
bottom of Hall street. Park your vehicles in the Prestige's lot, bring
your luggage to the marked area outside the main doors, then come
inside and check out the latest photos, Baldface gear, and ski and
snowboarding videos while you wait for your heli-transfer.
Balances Due
The remaining balance for your trip is due on November 15th. The credit
card we have on file for you will be charged automatically. Please
contact Adriane in the office (250-352-0006) if you have an updated
expiration date, or would like to use a different card.
Seats Still Available
There are still open seats available for this winter. If you know people who are interested, please send them our way.
Healthy Choices
Every winter the stomach flu flares world-wide. Travelers are
particularly susceptible. We have preventative protocol in place to
combat the flu, but need your help to make sure guests are healthy when
they arrive at Baldface. We want you to have a great experience, and
recommend the following preventive measures both before and during your
trip:
- Wash your hands at a minimum before meals and after restroom visits (30 seconds with friction in warm water).
- Frequently use a bottle of antibacterial gel (60% or higher).
- If you have been sick with a stomach virus within a week of your trip, or if you have mild stomach cramps or diarrhea, we will miss you but ask that you stay home so that you don't infect your friends and fellow guests.
Travel Insurance
Missing the Baldface experience due to an injury, illness, or weather
that prevents you from flying or driving to Nelson is unfortunate. We
recommend you protect your investment by calling your insurance company
and taking out travel insurance for the trip.
