Dining & Cuisine
Dining at Baldface is as incredible as the powder. Focusing on seasonal, local suppliers, we use organic ingredients when available. Our culinary team is hand-selected from across the country, providing a unique twist on local and globally-inspired cuisine.
Special Requests & Food Allergies
Baldface gladly caters to special dietary requirements of our guests. Please specify your requests or limitations at the time of booking so we can best fulfill your needs.
Our breakfasts – served buffet-style – always include homemade granola, fresh fruit and yogurt, along with a main dish like French toast, blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, and a variety of egg dishes from quiches and frittatas to eggs Benedict and veggie scrambles.
Prepped and ready for snowcat travel – a variety of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, salads, snacks and desserts are made fresh for you daily.
At the end of each powder day, guests enjoy homemade hot soups and appetizers in the lodge. Aprés ski delicacies include hand-rolled sushi, artisan B.C cheeses and cured meats, gourmet pizzas, sticky hoisin-glazed pork short ribs, and southern-fried chicken wings with buttermilk ranch dip.
Baldface guests enjoy gourmet meals prepared by our head chef who ensures portions are plentiful for big mountain appetites. All dinners begin with a crisp salad and warm bread, followed by a delicious main entrée, and dessert. We proudly prepare fresh, in-house pasta weekly. Vegetarian entrees are also available.
Prepared by our in-house pastry chef, desserts include everything from decadent chocolate tortes, apple tarts with homemade cinnamon ice cream and ginger lime cheesecake.
Coffee (Oso Negro’s local custom Baldface Blend), hot tea and water are available anytime throughout the day. A fully-stocked bar awaits guests après ski – enjoy cold brews like Kokanee or Stella Artios, a full list of fine wine, or large selection of hard alcohol. Be sure to try Baldface’s signature Caesar made with cucumber-infused vodka.
